Student Information​​

Call Time

  • 3:00 PM - Please do not be late!​​

​

Sound Check

  • 3:45p to 4:30p

  • Only student performers are allowed into soundchecks (This is SD Symphony's policy).​

    • Families can view sound checks from the sidewalks on either the right or the left of the venue.​

​

Performance

  • 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM​​​

​

Dress:

  • Nice Performance Attire​ (suites)

​

Bring:​

  • Horns

  • Cymbals, Sticks/Brushes (snare if preferred)

  • Bass

  • Music (if needed)
     

Provided:​

  • Piano

  • Bass Amp

  • Drums

  • Light meal and snacks for performers.

Location​

  • The Rady Shell (map)​

Parking

  • One Parking Spot Per Student Performer.

    • Priority Lot (Google Maps) — metered spaces right in front of the venue.

    • Parking lot opens at 2:30 PM for Rady Shell.

    • Give the student performer's name to the attendant.

Comps

  • Two Comp Tickets Per Student Performer
     

    • IMPORTANT: Print at home tickets and/or screenshots will not be admissible for entry.

    • Tickets will be emailed to student performers and we will copy parents/guardians.

    • You will need to log into your San Diego Symphony account, or create one to retrieve the tickets.

      • One you are logged in, follow the link in your email to open in any browser on your cell phone.

      • Additionally, you can download the symphony app and login. iPhone | Android
