YLJC Moves To Online Classes Due To COVID-19

Young Lions Jazz Conservatory has moved to remote instruction - week two wrapped up today! To ensure that we do our part to help with the community responsibility of social distancing during this time of coronavirus uncertainty, we are no longer meeting with our students on site.

At YLJC we are determined and ready to fulfill our responsibility as an active and vital member of our community during this time.

As Johnny Mercer wrote ... ???"You've got to accentuate the positive ... and latch on to the affirmative ... you've got to spread joy up to the maximum ... bring gloom down to the minimum." ???

And that's exactly what we intend to do! Our students are staying connected via social media, classes are "meeting" via online and mobile platforms, and we continue to forge ahead with planning toward the future.

We are excited about the projects we are getting ready to share! Keep a look out for live and open-to-the-public master classes, workshops, and more! We are so thankful for our community and hope to "see" you at our online events!

Stay well, stay safe, and don't forget to ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive! ?❤️
