Chaperoned Classroom Use
Check the calendar below for available times when a volunteer parent will be chaperoning the classroom.
This is an opportunity for students to hold jam sessions and connect with fellow musicians.
No food or drinks are allowed in the classroom.
Only parents/guardians may sign up to chaperone.
Check this calendar frequently as classroom availability is subject to change.

Classroom Chaperone Policy:

Room-2 is available for chaperone volunteers: Mondays 4:00-6:00 PM. Thursdays 4:00-6:00 PM.

Chaperones need to remain in the classrooms with the students. Parents/guardian chaperones are responsible for student safety and maintaining the condition of the classroom.

No food or drinks are allowed in the classroom—Chaperones must ensure the room is left clean and ready for the next class.

All instruments must be treated with care and respect—Chaperones oversee the use of available equipment: piano, amps, drum set, and PA system. All other instruments must be brought in by students.
By signing up as a chaperone, parents/guardians agree to uphold these guidelines and help create a positive space for students to learn, play, and collaborate.
Before signing up, please ensure full availability to chaperone to avoid cancellations that may impact students and families. If you need to cancel your chaperone slot, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance at info@yljc.org
