Wednesday (6/18) at Panama 66 — TAICHI OKUMURA! 🎷
Taichi has been in YLJC for SEVEN YEARS! 👏 He recently graduated from Canyon Crest Academy and is heading to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he will double major in biology and music!

In the summer, Young Lions Jazz Conservatory students perform at Panama 66 on Wednesdays. Since YLJC is out of session, these performances are usually led by graduated seniors (class of 2025).
Students select their own group of musicians, choose and often arrange the tunes, and set up rehearsals. This experience provides invaluable real-life experience in leading a band.
